1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DHB Events ticketing platform (“the Platform”) and the purchase of tickets for events organised or hosted by DHB Events (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Platform or purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Ticket Purchases
- All ticket purchases are subject to availability.
- Prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed (or for free tickets, once the order is completed) and you have received a confirmation email with your QR code ticket(s).
- You are responsible for providing accurate personal and contact details at the time of booking. We are not responsible for failed communications resulting from incorrect information.
- Tickets are personal to the named attendee and may not be resold, transferred, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
3. Payment
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
- By making a payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
- All transactions are in GBP. Your bank may apply currency conversion fees if your account is in a different currency.
4. Refund Policy
Important: Refund Deadline
Ticket refunds can only be processed up to 14 days in advance of the event date. After this date, refunds will not be issued.
To request a refund, please email refunds@dhbevents.co.uk with your order reference number and the reason for your request.
- Refund requests must be submitted by email to refunds@dhbevents.co.uk at least 14 days before the event date.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
- No refunds will be issued for requests received fewer than 14 days before the event date.
- No refunds will be issued after the event has taken place.
- Free tickets may be cancelled at any time but do not attract a refund.
- We reserve the right to refuse refund requests that do not comply with these Terms.
- In the event that we cancel an event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund automatically.
5. Event Changes & Cancellations
- We reserve the right to alter the date, time, venue, or content of any event. We will make reasonable efforts to notify ticket holders of material changes.
- If an event is cancelled by us, you will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.
- If an event is rescheduled, your tickets will be valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund in accordance with Section 4.
- We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred as a result of event changes or cancellation.
6. Entry & Admission
- You must present a valid QR code ticket (on your phone or printed) at the event entrance for admission.
- Each QR code is valid for a single entry only. Duplicate or counterfeit tickets will be refused.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from an event for any reasonable cause, including but not limited to disorderly conduct, intoxication, or breach of these Terms.
- No refund will be given if entry is refused or you are removed from an event due to your own conduct.
7. Attendee Conduct
- You agree to comply with all venue rules and any reasonable instructions given by event staff.
- You are responsible for your own personal belongings. We accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property at events.
- Photography, audio, or video recording at events may be restricted. Please check individual event details.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of DHB Events or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
- The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or accuracy of the Platform.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, DHB Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or attendance at events.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Platform or purchase of tickets shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant ticket(s).
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
11. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with third-party services (including Stripe for payment processing and Google Maps for venue locations). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
12. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, power failures, or internet disruptions.
13. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
